The Wondering of the Internet Shanae S. Moultrie ITT Technical Institution Abstract The Internet also known as ARPANET was created on January 1, 1983. Researchers began to assemble the â€Å"network of networks† that became the modern Internet. The online world then took on a more recognizable form in 1990, when computer scientist Tim Berners-Lee invented the World Wide Web. Many argue that the Internet opens a world of endless opportunities for young and old adults, but others feel as if the internet is a loaded cesspool of tinted information, illegal or inappropriate materials, and privacy disturbance.
